Virginie Louvet has been working in the art world for over 25 years.
In 2012, driven by independence and a singular vision, Virginie Louvet founded her own gallery in Paris, initially focusing on emerging artists from Europe and Latin America. Over the years, she has cultivated a refined approach to curating.
With over thirteen years of experience as a gallerist, Virginie Louvet now curates historically inspired exhibitions across Europe, drawing on a trusted and carefully cultivated network of galleries and collectors. In parallel, she facilitates connections between buyers and sellers of twentieth-century works of art, guided by deep market expertise and an uncompromising commitment to confidentiality.
Raised in France in a family closely engaged with the art world, she was immersed in art from an early age, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion. She began her professional journey with leading institutions, including the Grosvenor Gallery in London, and Christie’s in both Paris and New York. She later returned to Paris to work with Daniel Templon before expanding her international perspective through a collaboration with Luisa Strina in São Paulo.
Virginie Louvet holds a B.A. in Art History and a Master’s in European Business, having studied at Goldsmiths, University of London, and ESCP Europe, combining academic rigor with artistic sensitivity and expertise.
