Janaina Mello Landini Exhibits at Villa Carmignac Inaugural Show on Porquerolles Island, France
Janaina Mello Landini’s newest in situ installation, Ciclotarama 50 (Wind), is now on view at the Fondation Carmignac island site in Porquerolles since June 2nd, 2018.
The inaugural exhibition, Sea of Desire, shows works by artists such as Andy Warhol, Jean Michel Basquiat, Roy Lichtenstein, Gerard Richter, Keith Haring et Martial Raysse as well as contemporary artists such as Jean Denant, Cornelia Eichhorn, Jeppe Hein, Gonzalo Lebrija, Ugo Rondinone, Jaume Plensa, Nils-Udo and Wang Keping, amongst others.
For this installation, the artist used 20 meters of blue nylon rope and around 4000 brass nails.
Founded in 2000, the Fondation Carmignac aims to share with the public the modern and contemporary art collection started 27 years ago under the initiative of Edouard Carmignac.
